Bydgoszcz open to the world of great finance

After three BSS Tour Polska conferences held last spring, the organizers from Pro Progressio are not slowing down and are already preparing for the next events, in order to return in autumn in an equally good style.

The second edition of the nationwide meetings of expert started with a conference in Kraków - a city with a high position in the ranking of locations for BSS investments, where KPI/SLA indicators were discussed. The meeting in Szczecin strongly emphasized the city's cross-border character and its role in building the Polish-German partnership for the development of modern business services. The last event before the summer break was aimed at identifying the opportunities and threats for business caused by innovation and process automation, and the discussions held were as dynamic as the development of the modern technology industry. What surprises await us in Bydgoszcz?

The financial and accounting industry is one of the main service groups that is most often outsourced or centralized in SSC organizations. Thousands of enterprises, both in Poland and abroad, deal with the management of liabilities, receivables, accounting and analyses. These include accounting offices, as well as professional outsourcing operating centres and global BPO, SSC and GBC centres. Bydgoszcz is a city with a unique investment portfolio, whose strength is undoubtedly determined by the highly developed IT specialization, supported by successes on an international scale. At the same time, however, it is discovering its potential in the area of financial and accounting services. These assets of Bydgoszcz make it an ideal venue for a meeting of experts and leaders in the market of modern business services during the autumn conference.

The BSS Tour Bydgoszcz: The secrets of F&A revealed is aimed at exploring, describing and getting an insight into the issues related to financial and accounting processes. The practical applications of the process automation will be highlighted, and the greatest challenges faced by the Polish and global F&A market will be discussed. Starting from the current market potential in Poland and abroad, going through the practical approach to process automation and a workshop in robot construction, and ending with a comparison of the recruitment needs of the financial, accountancy and HR sector and the current educational portfolio. The agenda of the panel discussions and their subjects will lead the participants through a range of issues, giving a comprehensive picture of the contemporary F&A world.

The issues discussed will include:
the latest data on the potential of the F&A market in Poland and Europe;
the practical application of automation and robotization in  financial and accounting services;
the greatest challenges faced by the Polish F&A market in the outsourcing model;
the recruitment expectations of candidates with a financial and accounting profile;
the actual state of the educational portfolio for future F&A operation centre staff;
the current investment potential and further directions of the economic development of the City of Bydgoszcz.

The conference will take place on 11 September 2018 at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Bydgoszcz and is designed for financial managers, leaders and directors, who deal with financial, accounting and HR processes on a daily basis. The typical profile of the participant is a person representing F&A service providers and the companies using their services. The speakers include experts from the City of Bydgoszcz, Automation Anywhere, Mazars Poland, Emerging Europe, Grant Thornton, Carlsberg Shared Services, TMF Poland Gekko advisoryNOW and ACCA. The event is planned to cater for approx. 100 guests. After the conference, there will be an opportunity to establish business contacts during an unofficial networking party.
