Fujitsu Poland opens a new office space in Katowice!

Reinforcing Fujitsu’s presence in Poland, in addition to Lodz, Katowice is the second GDC location in Poland. Fujitsu’s GDC in Poland is part of a network of eight Global Delivery Centers worldwide supporting customers in more than 100 countries.

Piotr Jankowski, Head of Fujitsu Global Delivery Center Poland, says: “Our new location in Katowice shows the great level of work that is being provided by our GDC employees in our existing office in Łódź over the last 9 years. We aim to develop our operations in Poland ambitiously, including expanding to other cities in Poland in search of talented IT professionals. Katowice was chosen as the new location after careful analysis. As a hub for companies and talents in the IT industry, the Silesia area offers excellent potential for us to develop and grow further”.

During the coming months, Fujitsu plans to recruit 200 new employees in various specialist roles for the services delivered out of Katowice to global customers. Recruitment for new talent has just started. 

Fujitsu is seeking talents to join teams representing four business lines: Research & Development and Business Application Services, Remote Infrastructure Management, Service Desk and Service Management.

Fujitsu’s Katowice GDC office will be located in .KTW I – a building designed by Silesian Medusagroup architectural design studio. A perfect location at the very heart of the city, next to the iconic Spodek, Silesian Museum, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra and the International Conference Centre makes it one of the most sought-after office buildings in this part of Poland.

Fujitsu will be the biggest tenant in the .KTW I building. Colliers International was the company responsible for advisory services during the leasing process.
