Swedish company opens its new centre in Tri-city

Founded in 1987, DGC is a Swedish network operator providing telecommunications services. In the first 12 years of its existence DGC has become one of the largest manufacturers of personal computers in Sweden. Several years ago, the company has turn into a provider of ICT networks, broadband Internet and IT services. Since June 2008 DGC is listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm. Currently, the company employs in its offices in Sweden almost 200 people.

DGC has just opened in Tri-City its first center outside Sweden. Its activities are related to software development and it is responsible for the creation of a new generation of tools for managing business processes such as provisioning, billing or asset management. In addition, specialists from Gdansk’s branch will take part in the development of managed services based on private cloud solutions.
We plan to employ programmers and network administrators. We are looking for IT professionals, who communicate fluently in English and have experience in projects related to the generating of business solutions or open source projects. We are also open to students of information technology. We use many modern technologies such as the typescript, .Net, C #, Bootstrap, Elastic Search, MassTransit or Octopus Deploy. That is why we are looking for people open to challenges, who want to bring positive energy to the team and who like working in an international environment - says Tomasz Zarzeczny, Branch Manager of the Polish branch DGC in Gdansk.

We have chosen Gdańsk primarily due to the strong base of experts in the technologies that interests us. Additionally, this location is very attractive, because it lies in the same time zone as Sweden, it is well connected in terms of flight connections and its culturaly close - concludes Jesper Bülow.
