This celebration will take place in Warsaw at the Hotel Intercontinental on 2 February, 2017.
Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) is well-established as a world-class destination for Shared Services centres and BPO investment. With Poland the strongest location in the region, other countries such as Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia and Slovakia are important investment destinations. Global shared services firms, business services projects and sector professionals will be presented with awards of acknowledgment - by an independent jury from the industry - for their contribution to the development of the business services sector in CEE for 2016.
In 2017, we expect another sell-out audience of 300+ guests with more than 50 being international firms interested in setting up or expanding their business services centres in central Europe. The awards gala will be preceded by a half-day Summit of discussion panels covering the shared services and outsourcing sector; Break-Out sessions with deep insights into specific issues driving the sector; and once again our popular “Site Visits”.
With both local and international media organizations present, the CEE Shared Services and Outsourcing Awards Gala also promote's the CEE region as a world-class business services destination for global companies operating across Europe, North America and Asia.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
For global firms with operations in western Europe or North America, the one-day Forum and Awards Gala is a very efficient way to meet key decision makers in CEE’s Shared Services and BPO eco-system. Despite more than 400 global corporations already operating shared services or outsourcing centers in CEE, the sector continues to attract investment from world-class firms. Yet the decisions to be made are manifold: location, subsidies/grants, staffing, accounting, tax, and legal issues. Who to work with – and who not to work with.
In addition to officials from more than 15 cities across central Europe, our guests are a font of knowledge about the sector - and can answer key questions, and connect you to the right people within the shared services sectors. Forum and Awards Gala attendees will include many top executives from currently-operating business services centers in CEE.
In addition to the one day Forum and Awards Gala, many executives will arrive at least one day in advance for additional meetings, including our NEW and 1st annual “HR in SSC Summit”.

This year, we continue with our highly-popular site visits of Shared Services centres, BPO centres, and IT/R&D centres. We will have 3 optional site visits – all based in Warsaw – for our guests. Site visits are scheduled for the afternoon of 2 February, immediately following the networking-luncheon (after the morning Forum). Registration for site visits opens 15 November and is on a first-come/first-served basis.
